Any trader who is serious about what they are doing needs to have professional charting software. Not the charts in your broker, you need something with more tools than that. The two that I have come across that I recommend are TradingView and TC2000. I personally use TradingView. It has all the tools, chart layouts, alert functions, and watchlist builds that I need to do my technical analysis. It also has a calendar to keep up with important Fed Speech and data report dates and times.

Brokers
Having the right broker that suits your needs and trading habits is crucial to your success. I personally use Interactive Brokers for my daytrading executions. They have extremely fast order fulfillment, low fees, and all the broker windows that I need to be successful in a trade. Their platform can be used on web browser, desktop, and mobile. They are widely known in the trading community as one of the best brokers available.
Other Tools

Trade Tracking and Analytics
Tradezella is a company that offers tracking for traders. You can log all of your trades into their platform and run analysis to help fine tune your good habits and erase your bad ones. If you struggle at all with profitability or are struggling to size up in your trades, I highly recommend this tool to get you on track.

Earnings Insights
Earnings Whispers is a site that is very informative when it comes to upcoming company earnings. They have great visuals that display the coming week’s schedule, extensive articles about recent and upcoming earnings releases, discussions section to show what opposing views are, sentiment charts, etc. This site is very thorough in keeping investors up to date regarding earnings.

Economic Data Provider
TradingEconomics.com is a site that I use to keep track of upcoming Fed Speeches and data reports. It is very important to know when these events are scheduled as some of them can move the market violently. Knowing the scheduled times allows me as an investor to take appropriate action to my position sizes prior to those events starting.
